“ The savory and sweet pies are amazing! All the ingredients are top quality and fresh. They also carry British candy, crisps, beverages and groceries. They also make amazing scones fresh in a daily basis. Lastly, they have their sister store "Tea Store" two doors away that has a great selection of tea and biscuits. ”
“ Food fabulous. Visiting is fun. Hurry for Christmas pudding and crackers! Wonderful resource for British products including weetabix for my son in law! ”
“ The chocolate chip scone was the right combination of soft and crispy. We bought a Portuguese egg custard tart that was so delicious, that it didn't even make it to the car! Yummmmm ”
“ Returning customer. Good pie. But I personally may not ever return due to the service I received today. I hope that cashier / human at the front is okay. ”
“ This pie shop is small, but it's almost everything I'd want my pie shop to be. It's cute, they carry both savory and sweet pies, and most importantly, the pie is damn good. Any pie consumer knows it's all about the crust, and theirs is perfectly buttery and....crusty. My group of friends had just finished lunch and wanted dessert, so we scanned through the sweet options, picking between key lime, apple, and cherry. Apple was the winner-- the only downside of this place is that there is no seating and they don't heat up the pies for you. We were just driving through the area and on our way to a show, so we just took the pie to the park across the street and scarfed it down there. Even without getting it heated up the pie was phenomenal. I can only imagine how good it would've been otherwise-- also with a dollop of whipped cream or ice cream. Someday I'll return to take a pie home and eat it properly. Still, this pie shop is doing important work making the people of Montclair happy with delicious pie. ”
“ The place is small but they have THE BEST PIES!! Key lime pie will make you melt as you eat it! They also have other cute little sweets in the store but I go mostly for the pies and soups *chefs kiss* worth every penny! Worth the line! Worth the taste! ”
“ I made the short trek to Montclair with a friend to taste these delicious-looking pies. The shop itself is really tiny; you might be able to fit about 12 people shoulder to shoulder standing inside between the pie case/cashier station and the handful of shelves displaying British pantry supplies, snacks ("crisps" aka potato chips), and sweets like Cadbury's, Jelly Babies etc. There's no tables, so don't plan on eating in here. Back home, I followed the instructions the saleswoman wrote on the box and baked the pie for 25 minutes at 350F. It was deliciously packed high with apples, not the usual 1 to 2-inch-high pie. The (HUGE) Cornish pasty is the best of both worlds: a flaky pastry-like crust with a delicious savory, creamy filling of ground beef, potatoes, and carrots (and I think a bit of a gravy). TPS is a bit pricy, but very good and a unique option in our local restaurant scene. ”
“ Got two premium sausage pastries and they were really good. Pleasant, mild flavor and the flakey pastry surrounding the sumausage was primo. 5/5 Main reason I went here was to snag a key lime pie because it's my GF's fave. Followed the directions for the medium size, which was to leave out of the fridge for an hour before eating. Unsure what went awry, but i left it out for 20 minutes and that seemed to make the pie disintegrate. Tasted OK but I think it could have been better had it remained a solid mass. 3.5/5 ”
